Public Beta, Thrixel Agent, Unreal Fest, and more

Thrixel is an AI-driven web platform for creating 3D model assets, organized into clean, editable hierarchies for use in games, AR/VR, simulation, and more. In these update newsletters, we'll highlight new features, upcoming events, and what we're looking ahead to next.

Thrixel in Public Beta

Just over a month ago, we launched in public beta, making it possible for anyone to sign up and use Thrixel. Since then, we've been staying closely connected with our beta users and folding their feedback directly into what we build next. If you haven't given Thrixel a try yet, now's a great time:

We’ve watched our early users do some incredible things with Thrixel, and we want to share a few tips to help you get there too.

  • Iterate: After your first generation, keep prompting to refine the result. Try things like 'make the legs longer,' 'reduce the number of triangles,' or 'add an empty marker to the foot.' Thrixel is built for iteration, go as far as your imagination takes you.
  • Explore the hierarchy: Every asset exports with named, editable parts. Try dropping a Thrixel-generated GLB into Blender or your engine and exploring the structure.
  • Build with it: Point Claude or any AI coding agent at thrixel.com/docs and within minutes you can call Thrixel from inside your game, tool, or pipeline and generate assets on demand.
  • Animate: Bring any asset to life directly in Thrixel. A torch flickering, leaves rustling, a flag waving. Bake the animation into your GLB and export straight into your engine.
  • Add detail: Add photorealistic fidelity to any asset: fine-grained mesh details, organic surface geometry, and full PBR materials.
  • Share your work: Hit the Share button to send anyone an interactive 3D viewer, viewable in any browser. They can remix and keep editing from there.

Meet Thrixel Agent

We're excited to introduce Thrixel Agent, a new integrated AI assistant built to help you get more out of every model you create! Think of it as a collaborator that lives right inside your workspace, ready to help however you need it.

Thrixel Agent can be found in the right sidebar of Thrixel.

Just describe the change you want, and Thrixel Agent takes care of it, whether that means applying edits, adding details and textures, fixing spatial composition, decimating the mesh, or any other Thrixel operation. No need to track down the right tool for the job; just say what you want, and Thrixel Agent takes it from there. Along the way, it'll also suggest next steps to help you figure out where to take the asset next.

Left: Thrixel Agent automatically determines what operations to perform based on the user’s prompt.
Right: Resulting edit. Thrixel Agent suggests further edits.

Not sure where to start? Thrixel Agent can also help you brainstorm ways to iterate on a model, suggest refined prompt phrasing to get better results, or explain what any feature does, so you're never stuck wondering what to try next.

Thrixel Agent is now live on our platform.

Thrixel at Unreal Fest

From June 16-18, our team attended Unreal Fest 2026 right here in Chicago, where we had the chance to meet developers and studios building in the Unreal ecosystem. We left with some great new relationships we're looking forward to staying connected with!
